Dynamic Cost Profile Selection for Profit/Loss Calculation Open

U Objective: Enhance the software's capability to quickly switch between different sets of costs depending on the shipment origin and preparation center, ensuring accurate potential profit/loss calculations for products sold on Amazon. Background: The software currently allows users to input custom costs like shipping fees, customs duties, and preparation fees. However, each shipping scenario (e.g., shipping from Hong Kong vs. domestic shipment from a particular prep center) can have a distinct cost structure. Switching between these scenarios manually is time-consuming and prone to errors. Feature Description: Cost Profile Creation: Allow users to create and name multiple 'Cost Profiles'. Within each profile, users can set costs like shipping fees, customs duties, prep center fees, etc. Each profile will save all the custom costs and can be edited or deleted. Quick Switching Between Profiles: When calculating potential profit/loss, users can select the desired 'Cost Profile' from a dropdown or similar UI element. Once a profile is selected, all the custom costs from that profile populate automatically, ensuring accurate calculations. Example Scenarios: Scenario 1: Shipping from Hong Kong User selects the "Hong Kong" cost profile. All the costs associated with shipping from Hong Kong (like shipping fees, customs duties) are automatically applied. Scenario 2: Domestic Shipment from Prep Center XYZ User selects the "Prep Center XYZ" cost profile. All the costs associated with this prep center (like prep fees, domestic shipping) are automatically applied. Additional Notes: Ensure that the UI for this feature is intuitive, given that users will frequently switch between different cost profiles. Provide an option for users to duplicate a profile, useful for creating variations of an existing profile without starting from scratch. Benefits: Efficiency: Users can quickly switch between different cost structures without manually inputting each cost, saving time. Accuracy: Reduces the risk of miscalculations by ensuring that each cost is accurate for the specific scenario. Flexibility: Enables the software to cater to diverse shipping and preparation scenarios, making it more versatile for users with complex supply chains.
